On my daughter's Switch lite I was also getting the -9 error and unable to view the marketplace.  What I noticed is that the Date and Time for the console was set on Manual and after I selected to sync through internet, the error -9 went away.   But this solution is separate from another issue I'm having where I have lost all Minecoin and purchased Texture packs. All solutions I have tried have not worked for this separate issue.

The ticket that I had opened has now been closed as "invalid", like the countless others that I have seen on this site with the same issue.  We have spent money, the items we paid for has disappeared from our accounts, along with minecoin balances but there is no customer support for us.  The same message that this isn't a bug and your ticket will be closed is repeated by the people running this.  I've followed in Mr. Ward's footsteps in reaching out to social media channels as well.  I don't know what else we're supposed to do to get help which we should be receiving!

Telling us to go to Mojang CS support doesn't help at all.  People have waited 90+ days for single constructive reply, based on observation.  How about YOU help us get someone from that team within YOUR company to acknowledge us so that we all don't have to keep opening tickets here?  Because at least here, we get some kind of response.  You can internally send some kind of communication to the right channels to relay that "Hey there are a ton of paying customers who are losing their paid content.  They're not getting any support and using the bug system to reach out. Please assist".

The same thing has happened to me and since opening a help ticket on the Mojang site I haven't had any type of response.  MCPE-84090 - Missing Minecoin and Skinpacks!
