There are so many game-breaking bugs like this that somehow made it into the "final" update. I really hope that at some point the devs can revisit Legacy to iron out the most egregious ones like this because I feel like I'm stepping into a minefield every time I boot up the Legacy edition

Can confirm that this can still happen as of 8/3/20. I am astounded that resolving this has not become a major focus for the developers, as it makes the game literally unplayable.

I think it's a bit unfair that this report was marked as a duplicate; in the report that this allegedly duplicates there is no indication that the user who created it owned the disc before the Bedrock update. I feel that this report should be reopened and investigated.
