MCPE-32326 Cannot move objects in or out of inventory following MCPE update Duplicate

Comments

Thank you Linna! I switched out all of my texture packs and nearly every problem I've been having has disappeared. It appears you were right about the Norse Mythology pack. It is/was my favorite. I guess I couldn't imagine getting rid of it, lol. I hope these bugs get worked out though...I bought a lot of packs I can't use now. The game is not as much fun without them.

I am definitely taping and illuminating both – the item's slot, then an empty slot. Nothing moves. Occasionally I see a green line form above both slots when I press and it looks like the item is going to move. Then the yellow slot frames and green lines disappear.

This is the same as MCPE-32326. Norse Mythology mash-up is not the issue. It's the underlying code for the Minecraft game itself. I've had this problem since the recent Experimental Play update. Crafting tables, anvil repair, and dispensers work normally. Items that go in furnaces, enchantment tables and brewing stands get stuck and won't come out. You can move items between chests but the hot bar doesn't work. You can't put armor on your character, etc.

Along with furnaces and enchantment tables, brewing stands are also non-functional.

I don't know if this is progress but today, when I try to move items, the slots' frames illuminate without fail, and will stay illuminated for at least 3 minutes. Nothing moves, so it's not correcting the problem, but the illuminated frames are no longer intermittent. I agree, it's very frustrating to be unable to play.

Additional details: While nothing moved into furnaces and enchantment tables prior to the update can be moved out, the anvil repair function is working fine. So are the dispensers.

My mistake....the ticket is MCPE-32408, not the number above.

Another ticket, MCPE-32348, submitted today, appears to be a duplicate of this one.

This appears to be a duplicate of issue MCPE-32326.

I appreciate Jerry's observation. It is less intuitive to select an item, see the slot frame illuminate and then tap an empty slot that, I believe, is also supposed to illuminate. Just to be clear: This is how I'm trying to move items. The slots either don't illuminate, or only do so very briefly and occasionally. But in either case, nothing transfers.

I play Minecraft PE on an Amazon Fire HD tablet using the Fire OS 4.5.5.4. Same device I have used for years without any MCPE problems after updates.

Correction: I can't move blocks into furnaces NOW. Iron ore I smelted in worlds before the MCPE update can't be moved from the furnace to inventory.

Yes, I am indeed trying to move objects exactly that way. Nothing moves. Illumination of slots is very intermittent. I can't put armor on my character either. I can put iron blocks in a furnace and smelt them but I can't retrieve the resulting ore.

Blocks are disappearing after the update of MCPE to 1.2.13.54 to my Amazon Fire. One of a myriad of problems from that update.

These problems are persisting on my Amazon Fire tablet. Even if the slots in inventory are illuminated (which is inconsistent) nothing moves. Moving Items is the essence of the game so MCPE is now completely unplayable.

I am having this problem too. It's one of many problems I've had since MCPE updated to version 1.2.13.54. This is a minor one compared to the others.

After recent Minecraft PE update to 1.2.13 I lost almost I've purchased everything from my Amazon Fire HD

After Minecraft PE update to v1.2.13 the store has disappeared from my Amazon Fire HD. Many other problems with the new update but this is one of them.
