I have not attempted work arounds, yet; I can wait, commenting to aid bug fix.
I have an AMD Radeon HD 7900, DxDiag attached.

Same issue upon updating. Odd glitched GUI element consistently appears in same location (circled in white), though I was able to get a capital Y to also appear in that same spot upon restarting once.
