I have this same issue but on PC. I have done what the knowledgebase article says about the Guardian error and it doesnt work. I then tried even more.
- I have logged out of launcher, xbox pc app, windows store - Reset windows store (wsreset), restore/repaired xbox pc app, restore/repaired launcher - Reinstalled minecraft bedrock edition - Synchronized time manually to be absolutely spot on
Still doesnt work.
The in-game marketplace clearly sees me authenticated (as I can see my purchases), I have my gamertag over my avatar, I can see my realms, but when trying to connect to a local server, the pre-validation step checking authentication fails with the guardian error.
