Hello, i have a same isue.
It is very unhappy situation, because i uninstall older version at first..Now i am not able to install Minecraft.
So is it really necessary to check directX version for this build???
I found that some people install this build with newest gpu, after installation switch to older gpu and everithing works great...(this way is not possible for people like me - using notebook )
Meybe just a warning, that with older version of DirectX can be problem with graphics ..stability ..etc..
But not this......

I have managed to fix my problem (the server would crash each time I left the end due to chunks not generating/loading at all) using the suggestion I found in this issue https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-138114
In short, I set my client's view distance to be the same as the server's (10 chunks) and restarted both the server and my client. After that, no more crashes occurred and everything loaded flawlessly.
I think my problem was somehow specifically related to the credits screen, because after I got through that screen once, my client's render distance didn't matter anymore and I could set it to anything. Hopefully this could help someone in the future!
May I ask why this was linked to the issue it was linked to? I specifically mentioned it not being the case that it crashes due to loading chunks, considering being teleported out or dying works just fine.
Hello,
i had a same problem like you. I am not able to install minecraft version.xx.100 to my old notebook due to DX ( my dx feature level ofmy gpu is 10.1). But now, i am able to install new version xx.200 from ms store without any problems. Only the warning, that i have old gpu drivers is shown during lunching minecraft. But everithings works ok.now..
Do you have a same result?...
