Can confirm this is still an issue in 1.19!
I've been building flower farms, and when I did the Lily of the Valley one, they were replaces with white tulips... so strange.
Yes, I've just tested by removing all datapacks on the copy world and it's working normally again. I wonder if it's cause I haven't updated the datapacks themselves.
Thanks for the heads up. Had no idea what was causing the issue.
EDIT:
Just updated the datapacks I had installed, and no issues at all! Sorry for the post as it's now not relevant. Thank you
I can confirm this does not work. I use this method all the time to move items faster... but yeah nothing.
I've just tried the modified command and it hasn't worked. I'm at a loss for what's going on
I have tried all that multiple times and still on the beta🤣 that's why I reposted a duplicate post because nothing I'm trying is working. Before you ask I only have the 1 account signed up to the beta. No other accounts are on my PC or anything like that.
I'm getting no responses of my old ticket. I'll keep this open and delete my old ticket.
I want to update this...
I've done tons of testing on copies of my world... something isn't right at all.
As I said the first test I did was killing all entities. That helped a bit, but very little.
I've now tested particles causing lag... I got it to around 100 at all times using world edit and removing things like torches, nether portal, and many more things that produce particles. Again, this helped more than the entities - but not enough...
I've tested different Minecraft versions on old copies of my world (I have a backup from every released version including snapshots) still nothing while testing that.
I've tested Optifine 1.16.4... it increased by maybe 30fps. Please bare in mind that I'm used to playing on 250+ on brand new world or servers, so it does feel horrible to play on a world that I spent so long on!
I know 100% it's nothing to do with my PC specs, so I'm literally at a loss for ideas as to what to do... spent the last 8 hours on this trying to fix it and barely got any results.
Appreciate you looking into this. I had no idea my tickspeed was changed, I'll revert that now.
As for the particles causing the lag, is there a way to identify which particles are causing lag or is it just trial and error to resolve this?
Yet again, thank you
I've added the world download link to the bottom of the post
At the time of this post, the video is still processing. I'm assuming by the time someone gets assigned to this, it will be ready to view.
Thanks. If that's the case my villager breeder would work as my composter is on the same level.
Can confirm this is now resolved in 20w28a
@Avoma
Correct, but seeing a video confirming that this is a feature one upon a time and nothing about it being removed is enough evidence to declare a feature have being in the game and no longer is.
