Addendum - Having collected a bunch of blazes in a blaze XP farm, and then attacking a blaze outside of the farm will cause a massive carnage of fireballs inside the grinder. But they are not shooting at me but instead massacring each other with fireballs, actually managing to kill each other or at least take a lot of damage essentially breaking the grinder. Any lone survivors will start targeting me through the walls again. I thought they didn't take fire damage so how come they are managing to kill each others in wast numbers quite quickly.
Confirmed in latest pre-releases for 1.8 as well, would be nice if this got fixed before 1.8 proper release.

I would be fine with this bug getting fixed just as long as a dedicated BUD block was made and released at the same time.
@Kumasasa Well I know of the stuck lid bug it's been present for a lot of versions going back, but I've never encountered it actually playing the closing lid sound when getting stuck. And even then the lid has remained stuck no matter how many times you open or close it after with that bug until server restart basically or the chunks getting unloaded. This here seems like something else entirely imo here the model lid closes again after entering chest again.
Can confirm this as also happening when trying to place torch on floor next to a wall, will pop to wall 1.4.3 pre-release, singleplayer. as [Mod] Do mentioned, it's still the same issue tho, the floor position is just another data value for the torch placement in that occupied air slot.
Me and a couple friends experience this frequently on a server hosted by a friend off his computer. As soon as the player riding a cart moves out of your loaded chunks range, what is it 15x15 chunks, his model will often remain at that location. If you ride a cart up after him you'll see his model hovering in air without flapping there only to disappear after a little while or as you approach. But when arriving both players will usually not see each other until after a while or a relog.
@@unknown, they were indeed managing to kill each other with their projectiles or contact damage, as the grinder is manual and needs me to hit a button for them to be crushed. And they managed to kill each other a lot faster than I thought possible given their fire immunity.
