I think this is because of rendering incompatible ressource packs (the red color).

Through this bug I lost my whole inventory in one of my first survival worlds.

I reproduced the Error Messages by just playing on a Server.
The Server uses the 1.8 Spigot Protocol Hack.

This Rule is for local and Pocketmine Servers.
So this works as expected and it also tells you that the name is invalid.
