Confirmed, have the same behavior.
Well, I have to say (we are using a friends Realm account) that it just started working for us.
He didn't even have to switch world slots. We just tried to randomly log in after a few days of no responses from Mojang, and it worked.
It's really... wow...
Henry, sorry for getting both worlds stuck. I have no idea how long our world was stuck at the end, but think it went over 100h.
I don't know, this was really a frustrating experience, and seems to be continuing for some (I came here hoping the situation has been resolved completely, but I guess this doesn't happen for Minecraft - most of the regular issues are 1y+).
Wish you all the best, guys, cross my fingers that it gets fixed soon.
And of course, it should work as intended after a modest amount of time (not years) as an active subscription service.
Yes, for an actively paying subscription, this is the support and assistance. Really? My ISP/cable provider gave the block a month of TV packages unlocked because they had to do a fix during working hours. It lasted for half an hour.
Not a lot of helpful info: I don't use Twitter, but a friend of mine told me they posted they are having Reamls problem on June 8th. But no more info.
People are still actively having problems apperently.
I understand that, and this is my presumption. And it happens, I get it.
But... this is what their support answered to me:
The problem you've described sounds like a temporary issue and should have been resolved now.
Please try again, and reply to this email if you're still having the same problem.
That's the problem, you know. Make a public announcement, a post on your website "We have server problems, we are working on it. Sorry, we will make it up to you!", not supports that give these kinds of answers, when in fact it's just "buying time".
The problem is we have no info and a lot of problems are popping up, they need to handle it somehow...
@violine1101 This problem is constant throughout the history of Realms, and it happens irregularly to me as well as people I am playing with (most of the time, we play for hours without a disconnect, but sometimes it disconnects multiple times in a row, then BAM, the 7th it does not), so we can presume it's not a problem on users end.
Please consider it a problem on your end from this point on.
A lot of us have the same problem, but Minecraft support reactions with info and help are quite bad, it doesn't seem like the solution will soon be presented to the users.
There should be, Rebeca, at least from Minecrafts side. A lot of stuff they can do to fix the problem.
But the thing is, it is a question if they are able to/want to. Only Realm I play on has been down for 40 hours. I actively contacted support during this period, got two responses, the second one was "this seems like a temporary problem, it should be fixed, please try again", and it was not fixed of course.
Seems like they are buying time and ignoring their users...
I also have this issue with my groups Realm server. Sent a message to the support, but got one response 24h ago and then completely ignored...
Never said it was a crash, just confirmed the behavior from the previous comment of Noah.
