Yep, the game crashes when I join a friends world and open ANY menu. its SO frustrating.

My sibling plays Minecraft on the Nintendo switch, and while there playing normally OR opening the settings menu (menus in general) the game randomly errors and decides to crash. This is still relevant with the Buzzy Bee update.

Same thing happens to me on the new bedrock edition on PlayStation 4

Same thing happens to me, but slightly different. My sibling is trying to play Minecraft from her Nintendo account. She does not have a Microsoft account. when she tries to boot up the game, it simply stays on the black screen for over 3 minutes and then it crashes, saying an error occurred and the game had to be closed. This began to randomly occur. meanwhile my profile that does have a Microsoft account can load up as normal without crashing.

I found out that the freezing almost completely ceases when in docked mode. The only time it freezes is booting up, navigating and scrolling through the skins menu, and occasionally when exiting the settings menu. But when actually playing. It's flawless. As for multiplayer I need more testing to say anything about that yet. I'll keep everyone updated!

Here are my experiences with this bug on the switch.

In-game, the game freezes every couple minutes or so, and when opening the settings menu and exiting, the game freezes for about a minute. Every single time I close the settings. And when it freezes, the music starts to stutter as well and goes back to normal after the game stops freezing. The freezing also happens in servers and can be just as long. while at the main menu, the freezing doesn't occur as much as in game, it usually happens when the game boots up. Browsing the market place also isn't very smooth, it feels laggy and stuttery. So far that's all the issues I've had, other smaller issues is that sometimes when opening chests it takes time to load the chest interface, but I'm pretty sure it's just my wi-fi, also, sometimes while mining blocks the blocks just disappear and in a about a second the animations and sound for breaking the block plays. But that doesn't happen so much. Thanks for reading this and I hope it help 😃

I can also say that this freezing also occurs on multiplayer servers just as often as in singleplayer world's, it's definitely a very annoying problem and I hope this gets fixed soon.

Same thing happens to me, I play on Nintendo switch and ever since 1.10.0 the game freezes at random times and it's very annoying. It even happens in the main menu and skin menus.
