Just started happening this morning. Tried going from overworld to nether. It locked up and after I closed Minecraft and went back in, I was approximately 2000 blocks away from the portal.
Asof the latest update on PS4, this started happening to me. I have found if you COMPLETELY WAIT for all thumbnails to load and the screen to stop pausing, you world should appear as normal. Additionally, when you save, do the exact same. Since I have been doing this process, I have not had the issue of losing items and returning to spawn. Again, wait till your Avatar appears and you are completely logged in. Wait for thumbnails to appear and wait for splash screen to stop jerking. After saving, wait till all thumbnails appear. I hope this helps.
I have found the stuttering/ echo sounds happen only near my base. I have multiple farms running all at once plus approximately 70 villagers all in an area about 80 x 180 blocks. The farms include villagers, minecarts, pistons, bees, cows and iron golems.
I found a small village with approx 6-8 villagers. I fenced in the entire area and added more houses, beds and farms. My village is approx 150 x 150 blocks in multiple chunks with 60-80 villagers running around. I placed about 15 composters, 6 smithing tables, 6 blast furnaces and 3 lectures. I placed the 3 lectures, one at a time, until I had the books I needed. I traded with them to lock the trades. ALL villagers where left to run free. Several minecraft days later, I came back and almost all villagers had a trade of some kind although not enough workstations for them. Most of the villagers had swapped or lost their stations. Im playing on PS4 Bedrock with the latest update and this bug is active as of 1/26/22
I used a flashdrive to save my world's. Uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Then put flashdrive back in to add world's back. Look up the proper way do do this on YouTube. It sounds hard but really isn't. Since I did this, I have been able to play. I play every day I can because last time I stopped for about a month and this issue came back.
Did not have this problem until after today's 2.18 update for ps4. Villagers fly across the floor and are invisible. You have to run out of render distance then come back for them to reappear. The ones that don't disappear can easily be bumped from their beds.
I have been able to play after the latest Minecraft and PS4 update. However, shortly after these updates I was unable to play for several weeks because of work and family. I just tried to play this morning and now I'm stuck in the red screen of death once again.... No button combos work, shutting down and rebooting doesn't work, nothing!!! This has been going on entirely too long. Is it because we play on the PS4 that nothing has been done about it???? Please fix!!!!!!!
This is where it is locking up on me. The issue I had before the last 2 updates was the game crashes during gameplay. Now it locks up checking for updates.
[media]After the update this am, I got through Mojang screen then updated packs. It locked up on the scrolling bar that goes back and forth. Had to get completely out then start over. It did work after that
If it helps... I'm using the digital version and I did update from editions. Also I typically can get through the Mojang red screen but game crashes at varied times.
My witch hut stopped spawning witches recently. All bugs concerning witch huts that have stopped spawning witches seems to be "resolved " and are pointed to this issue. I've tried flying high in the air that should make all spawned mobs disappear. I've also turned my game from hard to peaceful and back again. Shouldn't both ways make all mobs despawn whether they are holding objects or not? I'll try copying my world and changing it to creative so I can see if caves are full of mobs that are below my witch farm.
