My seed is: -1684892989 its an infinite world. Created in 1.8.0.
My nearest stronghold is more than 5000 blocks away. At something like -1450 y -5150 ....
Very frustrating.
I have the same problem, i have a zombie spawner and a skeleton spawner at my base and 2 blaze spawner at the nether. I converted the world form the Xbox One edition, the zombie and skeleton spawners worked jut fine after the conversion. I didn't check the blaze pawners becouse i resteted the neteher before i converted the world. After a week or so i built a blaze farm on peaceful and when i changed the difficulti I noticed the spawner not working. I tought its a problem with the conversion but my zombie spawner also stopped working but the skeleton spawner still work at least for now. So i think its not becouse the world conversion.
I noticed the same problem, sometimes if i break the sign and place it again i can wirite in the second line but somtimes nothing helps.
I had this problem with my converted Xbox One world. Had 10 simple and 2-3 sticky pistons and from the old xbox one edition times. When I tried to craft them to sticky pistons I lost all the materials and got nothing. After I used all of my old simple and sticky pistons now I can craft new ones.
Seems like its because the hostile mobs. I have no lag on peaceful and very annoying lag on even easy and even worse on hard.
Same problem here. No little spinning blaze in the spawner, no blaze spawning at all. I built a cool blaze farm and drowned in lava just to find out its not working.
I'll check the zombie and skeleton spawners too. Those were just fine 2 days ago.
Zombie spawner is gone, no little zombie inside. Skeleton spawner still working.
EDIT(again): Copyed the world and tryed in creative. and found out its becouse my world is converted from the old Xbox One edition. (This wouldn't explain the zombie spawner problem so nevermind.)
In creative I can fix the spawner with an egg or if I leave the old nether borders "250 ish coordinates" i can find blaze spawners whitch are working properly.
The bad spawners differ form the empty ones in creative. These are still on fire just missing the little mobs. The ones in the creative inverntory are empty, no fire.
I hope Mojang can fix this without losing our progress.
1.8.0 is the latest version, and my nearest stronghold is more than 5000 blocks away, so the other 127 is also minimum 5000 blocks away.
