Hot take: this sounds adorable. I would be fine with Mojang marking this as “works as intended.”
Confirming this happening (on Arch as well) under both PrismLauncher and the Mojang launcher (installed as system packages).
[media]One final thing--from the stack trace, I believe the fix should be a simple matter of calling the toRealPath() method.
Thanks Moesh. Should I open a new ticket to address the specific fact that relative links cause the loading to abort with "Failed to Access World" instead of failing gracefully as it does with absolute-but-not-allowed symlinks?
Yeah, so to be clear, what's going on is that the Jukebox itself is powering the activator rail. Just attached a video.
Activator rails have nothing to do with this report. I have removed the video as it was irrelevant.
Just a quick follow-up: so it appears that allow_symlinks.txt itself... can be a symlink.
@Crafter Aurora I’m using RADV, fwiw. I also tried forcing Zink (OpenGL running on top of Vulkan), and it crashed just the same.
