It's still occur in latest version.....I can't attach the picture bec my world so laggy.....but I still can confirm
What I mean with visual bug....
When I place iron bar at top of leaves it like glitchy
Please don't tag this bug in version 1.1.2.50. Magma block are release at version 1.1.3.0
You must generate new chunk to get magma block at lava pool
And all other block include concrete,concrete powder,log and much more...
Sorry to say, the water, lava and milk bucket it have different data value .Like :
-/give @p bucket 1 0 = it will give you normal bucket
-/give @p bucket 1 1 = it will give you water bucket
-/give @p bucket 1 2 = it will give you lava bucket
-/give @p bucket 1 3 = it will give you milk bucket
It same like replace item

Please clarify what do you mean by "Getting Portal Blocks", like how the bug occurs.
