I have been playing minecraft bedrock VR on occulus quest 2 VR air link for a few months now, had no problem and suddenly a about a week ago the game no longer works in VR mode, I see the red logo for a few seconds when launching, then the game crashes right away. Works fine in PC mode, only crashes with "minecraft://mode/?OpenXR=true"
After further testing, we realized the ids of custom entities in general seem to be completely random on realms each time you reconnect, also changing if other packs are applied to solo games.
So is there any way to reliably spawn custom entities with /give commands or Custom Recipes accross maps in Bedrock like name tags in the java versions?
I have experimental gameplay on! All items owned by players were in the correct player inventory, so it seems to recognise players even after a back and forth transfer from realm, but not tamed animals of any kind.
Same issue, minecraft bedrock works fine in PC mode, but crashes on launch in VR mode, I see the red screen with logo then crash, started happening around a week ago, so your theory works, could be the occulus update
