YoYoYonnY yes it does but that is also at random intervals, I somehow made the wither behave in such a way that it's constantly attacking every half a second or so. The explosion just kills it slowly

its /gamerule doMobSpawning true(or false)

The capital letters do matter, try using tab completion if you're unsure of the capitalisation
