This bug has been in the game for a very long time, according to my tests, and I have personally used it for PVP, partcore, and escape rooms. Because of its age and uses, I do not think Mojang will take action. But who knows?🙂

@Pencil Sharpener

I tested what you said, and I got the same results. It is kind of funny-looking 😃 so Mojang might say that its an "intended feature" (JK)

Please submit a picture with F3+b and normal F3 enabled. The cause of this "bug" is most likely mobs being able to see the player's hitbox through corners. This general bug has been in the game for a while. 🙂

Edit:

After looking at your sound descriptions, it seems that the Breeze could have jumped and then started targeting the player. Please submit a video of this happening. Try making a box with corners and a box without corners with a ceiling during the video.

I believe the reason this happened to you is that you were holding down the movement keys while using the portal. The game has nothing to do with this. Yes the spawn platform may suck, but this is still considered user error.

This is why I love mojang lol. Unintended but cute 😉
Barely any other games do this sort of thing 😃

I am sure they will see this and fix it. No need to worry but it is urgent.

I don't know too much about UI/GUI or Bedrock Edition, but I think that you are using the "Old/Original" UI/Button layout, which might be the cause of the issue (the issue could also be that your screen size isn't commonly supported). Bedrock Edition also has a screen border setting, but your Hotbar looks normal, so I am assuming it is because you are using the old buttons. But overall, it could be a combination of, screen size, ui scale of 3, and the old ui.

Edit:
Can you try using the new UI and update your post? Thanks 🙂

If this is on a server, it could've been caused by the server updating to this version. And likewise with the world. If you had to transfer or export a world, then it could have also caused this. I know you said you didn't know when it happened. But can you try to give more context? Thanks 🙂

I tested this in 1.20.1 multiple times, and the issue was not apparent, so the issue might have been introduced in 1.20.2.

@Jon1337
I agree. I think Mojang wants this mob to levitate. Sort of like the Blaze mob. Here are some screenshots of the blaze. I know I am using a modded client, but the results are the same as vanilla!
