I have the same problem also on Switch. Have not been able to sign in for 3 days now. I've had the same error codes and also Error code: Drowned, Ghast and Creeper (Mostly Crossbow)
So the game has been completly unplayable online for 2 weeks now.
I'll try to be helpful here:
-When I get on the realm other players who are not on Switch start having extreme lag spikes.
-When I'm within the render distance of a friend I seem to get disconnected even faster.
-When I hang around my guardian farm I get disconnected almost immediately (very high spawn rate)
-Standing still for about a minute gets me kicked off the realm.
-Third person view freezes the game and gets me kicked off.
-Using the chat freezes the game and gets me kicked off.
Why don't Mojang themselves atleast put out some kind of official statement? Saying something like ''yeah sorry guys we know mc has been unplayable since 1.9, we're working on it''
At this point people who play on Switch should atleast get some kind of warning before purchasing a Realm, about how it's basically just throwing your money away.
Are we supposed to get excited when we hear a new update is coming?
Because it only seems to bring in more and more game breaking bugs every time. Like the inventory lag, how do you just release the update like that and make us wait a month for it to be fixed? When you guys test play, do you have some kind of beefed up Nintendo Switch? Because if you would have test played on a regular Switch you would have noticed that the game in UNPLAYABLE and definitly not ready for release..
Oh and thank you @William, I'll think about it if I will continue paying for Realms next month... If the game is still broken by the end of this week DEFINITLY NOT!
Just downloaded the hotfix update. Performance seems to have improved a little bit, but still getting randomly disconnected from the realm every couple minutes. Chunks take way longer to load then before especially while flying (since the 1.11.0 update and also 1.11.1)
It seems like you can't take too long typing when you use the chat or it will freeze and disconnect you from the realm.
When I use rockets while flying with elytra sometimes the rocket effect won't stop working for like 20 seconds.. which is pretty cool tbf but definitly a bug. Also started doing the swimming animation on land when using riptide a couple of times.
@todd boyd - I play on Wi-Fi as I can't get the ethernet cable hub thing to work.. I get kicked off the realm almost immediately if I watch a youtube video while playing now. Which has never been a problem before but started happening since 1.11. Well thank you Mojang for atleast trying but it's still not playable online for me.
@Ali Djeffal - What I find odd is that as soon as I start up the game it already freezes, then when I login to my microsoft account it freezes some more. then I go to the realms section and it freezes even more. When I finally get on my realm I can play for about 2/3 minutes then it freezes again and I get kicked of the realm. When you turn on third person view it instantly freezes the game and gets you kicked off the realm.
I just don't understand how they release these updates like that.. It feels like the quality of this game has been degrading more and more everyday since 1.9.0, and the thought of having to wait till 1.12 for them to (possibly) fix this kinda frustrates me.
That's why I don't feel like continue paying for a realm I can't even play on.
Well thats ridiculous. . I'll never pay for a realm ever again or any other thing by Mojang. I don't like playing single player so I guess I'll just finally drop this game and wait for Hytale.

I saw this in the 1.12 changelog: Cached resource packs no longer cause lag on Nintendo Switch (MCPE-36976).
Is that related ? If so are they seriously going to make us wait till 1.12 ?
This game has been performing very poor since 1.9.0 then 1.10 made it even worse and now 1.11 is completely unplayable!
I pay 8 euros a month now to play on a realm but the game has been mostly unplayable online for 2 months..
Same issue have not been able to login for 4 days now. Are they ever going to fix this? I've had this problem for months now, but it seems to get worse every ''hotfix update''. Why can't Mojang atleast put out some kind of official statement? I keep paying for realms plus but everytime there is atleast one gamebreaking bug that takes for ever to fix!
