After updating an existing survival world to 1.18, I am experiencing extreme lag to the extent that I am unable to place blocks, mine blocks, open fences or open doors. In addition, villagers, tamed mobs and named pets all despawn in areas where they have previously “lived” for months or years. (I don’t think the despawning issue is a strict duplicate of MPCE-144208 because in this 1.18 world the villagers and mobs are despawning while I am still in the game, sometimes while I am in the same chunk with them. In fact, a named horse I was riding despawned while I was riding it!)
@GoldenHelmet: The lag occurs during auto-saving and also when not auto-saving.
The world I am playing in was originally created in version 1.6 or 1.7 and I have been playing that world regularly throughout all updates up until now. The world size is 259.1MB.
Hi, I am still experiencing the "Invalid Registration Error" (IllegalArgumentException: Registration failed) when trying to register for a new Mojang account using a custom smtp domain. I've tested with a non-existent Gmail account and it works fine.
Happened to me today in 1.19.31 playing on xbox1.
I have a nether portal in the nether dimension at coordinates 111, 14, 111. I was playing in the nether and entered this portal to return to the overworld when the game got stuck at the "building terrain" screen. The game did not crash but displayed this screen for twenty minutes before I manually quit the game. Upon restarting the game, I reloaded the world and was spawned in the overwold at coordinates 111, 14, 111 (yes, inside stone where I immediately started taking suffocation damage).
I have a recent backup copy of the world so I'm not angry, but I am concerned about using portals in this world until this issue is resolved.
Additional info: I'm playing in a world that I've had for years and the world size is about 450MB. The world was initially created around the Aquatic update and has been updated through all versions since, up to 1.19.31 currently.
