Hi Ionic,

How do we go about uploading the World to this location from Xbox One? Given that the File Explorer and other functions allowing file access are not readily accessible I'm not sure how we go about doing this.

Kind Regards,

Ryan

We have to wait for it to be assigned- Given I'm waiting on a request to delete an account that I inadvertently set the date of birth to 2020 on, and all the correspondence I've had in 48 hours has been an automated system and almost no indicator as to whether my reply was picked up and acted on, it's hard to tell when this will be assigned to anyone.

That problem is almost identical to ours Stephen but we- my three friends and I- only live about 20 miles from one another in the UK.

We have the same issue in a Realm between four friends. We've ruled out internet stability as our internet is fine, and it shouldn't be lag as we all live within about 20mi of one another so the difference in ping would likely be a millisecond or two at most.

Me and my friends encountered this issue on a Realm recently. We've ended up abandoning the Realms system altogether as due to this bug and another that renders the Realm unplayable for one or more members, it's not worth the hassle.

Update- Friend in question has created a Realm of his own using the Free Trial, and has encountered the same problem even when he hosts the Realm.

As per REALMS-3459, we're abandoning Realms until any form of fix or support is provided as there is no apparent solution to this at our end.

Separate tickets REALMS-3448 and REALMS-3459 created. This ticket can be closed.

WRT this ticket and REALMS-3448, which are both affecting the playability of the Realm for me and my friends, until we hear back we're going to be downloading the world from Realms and just playing it as a locally-hosted multiplayer game.

Given that the bugs are actively preventing members from playing, it makes more sense for us to play locally-hosted and accept the impact that it requires the Save owner to be online, instead of having an hour or more where someone is having an unexplainable, unfixable bug that renders them unable to join or play.

I've had another update from the friend in question.

Having left and rejoined the realm, they were "killed by an invisible force". Rate of damage approx 3.5 hearts/sec.

Is it possible that the game is misinterpreting where they are and thinking they're outside the map boundaries?

To add to the previous update: it turns out said friend's character appears invisible to them in third person.

Update- A different friend to the one originally suffering this issue now has it. In their words: "What is the point of having a Realm when you can't interact with anything?"

Everyone has full Operator permissions and privacy settings shouldn't be causing an issue so what IS causing it?

UPDATE- Changed seed, reset realm, cleared and re-added members with Operator permissions. Seems to be working now.

UPDATE-

Totally new seed, reset realm, the friend in question STILL cannot interact with anything.

Could privacy setting affect this?

Update- I've replaced the Realm while keeping its seed, and I'm going to have my friends try it when they can to see if it is still causing issues.
