I’ve noticed it a lot more with 1.14.32.1 alpha server playing on an ipad with green connection.  If you don’t hear the break sound, i’ve just stopped walking and the blocks will fill back in.  If you don’t, the blocks just lock you in and you suffocate unless you mine out quickly.

I am still experiencing this issue in 1.14.30.2, but I don't have any images to add at this time.  The worst is when it happens while flying in The End; I will be flying over coordinates where an island should be but I'm moving too fast to know exactly when to close my wings and fall to the ground which causes me to ultimately end up in the void and lose everything.  This is on a server running Alpha bedrock and doing the save & close re-login fixes the loading issue.  Haven't tried to do that mid flight yet to see if islands reappear when I get back.  I'm too afraid of just falling into the void before loading in and dying.

Have this issue on ps4.  Spent half an hour creating my daughters custom looking character, then restarted the game it was all lost.  I constantly get notifications at the top of the screen when the game starts that says "Failed to load character X" (roughly like that).
