Sorry to use this as a support website, but do you know of any folder I could delete so I don't have to play with mods every time?

Hey, the someone mentioned turning off your internet. Sure enough, I turned it off and got the launcher to work [on demo mode]. So far it seems to me the game runs like normal on demo mode though, so I think this can be used as a temporary fix.

Forgot to mention: I attached a screenshot of my launcher screen when it let me in.

Rare instance of game actually letting me log in. Like previously, it doesn't think I have bought Minecraft (I have). Note the error at the bottom, perhaps that has something to do with it? After quitting and restarting the launcher, back to the same old Login Process error.

Hello, I am still experiencing this issue as well. I am on a Mac OSX version 10.11.6. I was trying to log into my Microsoft account. I could paste my comment from the previous thread onto this one, as it is more detailed then this is, if you would like. Unfortunately I will probably not be following this issue for very much longer, as I am soon getting a newer computer that can run a working operating system.

Sorry, I do not think this should be marked as resolved and fixed. I still do not have access to the game I payed $30 for. If you are dropping support for older Macs then please at least let us know about it. I want to help all I can, but my patience is running thin. Please, if there is a fix (that does not involve 3rd party software), let me know by all means. I repeat: This issue is not fixed.

Ok. I just somehow managed to log in to my Microsoft account. However, it didn't think I bought the game (just said play demo and had the advertisement for the full version.) It also said it couldn't connect to Minecraft services. I tried to restart the launcher to see if that fixed anything, but then it went back to giving me the error when I clicked login.

Still does not work for me, unfortunately. Is there something I am missing?

I am experiencing this problem as well. I migrated my account to Microsoft and all worked fine for a few days. Two days ago I opened the launcher and it logged me out when I pressed play. It has not let me in since. When I click on Microsoft Login, it loads for a second or two and gives me the error, "Something went wrong in the login process." When I click Mojang Login, it will take me to the login screen, but when I enter my old Mojang account information, it says my account has been migrated and won't let me in. When I try to create a new account with my old email I used for my Mojang account, it says I already have an account with that email. My computer is a Mac OS X, version 10.11.6. To the extent of my knowledge, I have not downloaded anything that would conflict with Minecraft. Once again, this problem started two days ago in the evening. Would really appreciate if this was fixed soon as I cannot play Minecraft anymore if it persists. I will leave another comment if anything changes, but please let me know if there is any other information you need.

@Joe are you sure that the people on your server aren't killing or stealing villagers? 

Note to everyone: Make sure your villagers didn't just go in a nearby nether portal. This happened to me and I was sure it was this bug, until I went to the nether and saw him there. Deleting all my attachments. Hope this helps
