This issue is actually due to MCPE-62419. Please close.
I should have noted, this was partially a problem in the previous version. Though it rendered correctly, you couldn't directly saturate an end rod mounted in that position, and still can't. You have to saturate another block next to it, then remove that block.
Thank you, that worked perfectly !
I've noticed a similar problem. I made an open ocean aquarium with iron bars and we eventually all the fish are pressed against the bars, refusing to be dissuaded from their desired course.
I'm having the same problem, sometimes just on signing in. Bedrock 1.8 for android on galaxy note 9.
I'm noticing a similar problem. I have an opening/closing garage door on my house via command blocks that fill the rows of the door with air or blocks in sequence and "move" them from the doorway to overhead and vice-versa. When I push the button though, visually, the blocks don't "move" or disappear (get filled with air), but I can walk through the blocks and from inside them see through the ground in places. The invisible outline of the blocks highlight overhead when I move the cursor there, and they block my way like they're solid. The button also didn't visually depress, but did audibly click. The doors also open and close audibly with the same invisible outline situation. These animations were all laggy in 1.4 and 1.4.1, but now in 1.4.2 they don't seem to work at all. This all applies to an old world that was converted when infinite worlds became available. I'm playing on a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with the Amazon version.
Same thing happening to me on Android. I have the Amazon Kindle fire PE version. Tried checking all the privacy settings, just like everybody else, everything is in order to play. It seems since the 4th public server was added I've had the problem. At least this issue is still open. Hopefully it won't get closed before it's actually resolved.
The suggestion bar went missing from my main Google search bar at the same time, but is still there in Chrome. Possibly due to an android update? I also have the Amazon version of MCPE.
Can confirm, still persisting in 1.2.8. I just got a Steelseries Stratus XL bluetooth controller that works flawlessly for everything else on my S7 Edge but the exact same symptoms with my Amazon version of MCPE. Many forums note the same thing.
I'm having a similar problem in 1.0, but it's 32 blocks on mine. I have a GS7 edge.
UPDATE: Bug still present after 1.0.5, but the 32 block distance only seems to be in my old world that I created before 0.8. I created a new world with 1.0.5 and the beam disappears at 65 blocks, same as on my Samsung tablet.
No movement on the slider unless I'm actually touching it, now as of 0.16.1. I have encountered the button size problem before but it seems unrelated this time.
Same issue, and if my finger or thumb accidently slides over to whatever button happens to be in the pane on the left as I slide off the volume control, it still doesn't turn off the sound. I have to be very careful to lift directly off the screen after turning the slider up and back to zero.
I found it shows when sneaking. (GS5, amazon app)
It's partially fixed in 1.16.2, but the height you bounce is not enough. It's 5 blocks where it used to be 7. Still not helpful for elevators.
