issue still happens. everything i did on the feedback site except for my votes and 3 comments were deleted, and a comment that never made it out of pending approval that i spent so long on was deleted for no reason! to make things worse, my real name now shows as my username! this bug should really be looked into more as the feedback site is barely worth using while this bug is prevalent!
edit: it appears i was affected by WEB-4761 with the name thing, and my activity was not affected. not saying this shouldn't be fixed though!

i had this happen. the item still exists but it is only visible in the hotbar. it happens for every single item and was first present in a modified world but was successfully reproduced in an unmodded world

this is incomplete as it does not have enough info to understand the issue. please make a new ticket describing the issue better.
no longer needs fixing. the addon maker i use has added a 3D skin option which is the same thing as the normal armor but you can model it and the texture is not broken. feel free to resolve as Won't Fix.
