Found two more instances where Allays have teleported above ground, leaving a cave built for them, and are at least 50 to 100 blocks from where they should be.
1.18.11 patch seems to have fixed the issue.
Nintendo Switch, Bedrock 1.18.2 creative copy of my 1.18 world started when the update dropped. Threw 5 tridents at the front of my house 3 blocks above a solid block. Teleported 1500 blocks away and the tridents remain where thrown.
Save and quit the game in front of my house and when returning to the world after the Save all tridents were now on the ground sticking up vertical as if they fell. They didn't clip through the blocks like I've experienced in the past. Delete if redundant or possibly if there is a new bug that causes what was described.
@Mega_Spud is it possible to load a beta on the Nintendo switch? I've never tried but I'd like to help troubleshoot the problem since I quit playing over 3 weeks ago for fear that I'd do more damage to the world.
@The Doctor The trident killers are all chunk aligned properly. This is a reported bug though so the Devs appear to be aware of the bug already.
I have begun experiencing this bug again in the most recent 1.19.80 update on Nintendo Switch. A thrown trident fell out of a build and landed on the ocean floor 128 blocks below. One of them remained lodged vertically and the other despawned.
Edit: Threw a trident into the front wall of my house and went into the nether hub. Traveled 1000+ blocks away to do some work. Came back an the trident is now laying on the front porch.
