sorry if it’s a duplicate, searching “vanilla datapack” didn’t find MC-277790 because it shows as resolved
so because MC-308846 is Working as Intended.
I expect the “/defaultgamemode will change the world host’s gamemode and not the other player’s gamemode” in open to lan I added to that other ticker to be working as intended and so this issue to also be working as intended, which will be a problem for map making.
I tried some things with a friend putting creative and allow commands:
other players joining still get the permissions and new gamemode.
The other player have access to debug commands but:
- there is no /op to give permissions to the world host
- /defaultgamemode will change the world host’s gamemode and not the other player’s gamemode (even /defaultgamemode creative when it was previously set by the open to lan and not changed since changed the world host’s gamemode to creative and then setting it back to survival changed only the host back to survival)
yes, I didn't found it when searching if that was already reported. I didn't know that glass work like air
gamerules : default+immediate respawn true+mob spawning false
@ManosSef no it is not a duplicate of MC-123029
MC-309582 is not about it disabling game behaviour, it’s about it force-reactivating upon re-opening the world.
For exemple in map making: disabling the vanilla datapack is useful to remove some of the default game behaviour (like unwanted drops instead of needing to override each of them or to each tick kill all items of a certain type). If leaving and re-entering the world force it activated then disabling the vanilla datapack is useless because you can’t transfer the map with it disabled.
