You spent 5 times more time asking for screenshots than it actually takes to test it
Any size. On the screenshots 32x16 is used.
Any hight. Its only placed here to eliminate any other mob spawns that may be hidden below bedrock
waited for approximately 30 minutes with only 1 mob spawned, while the second screeenshot is a couple of minutes.
I can reproduce it in vanilla. Because what you see on the screenshots is a vanilla server and mods are only on my client. however, i tried reproducing it in a completely vanilla environment and it made no change. So please YOU try to reproduce
Duplicate, idk how to delete
Behavior that is completely different from expected considering the rest of the game mechanics is a bug/or a mistake. This is a bug report and not a suggestion in this case
Its not "works as intended". This type of comparator behavior is completely different from any other comparator behavior in game. It makes it harder and laggier to detect signal 9 than it is to detect signal strengths 15.
Why is it marked as invalid btw? Its clearly an unresolved issue which is still being discussed
Well you are right, mojang broke this feature, unfortunately. And what is a broken feature? It is called a bug. So the fix itself is a bug, an absolutely meaningless one
But its time to finally agree that IT IS a feature which is used in community. I dont know why mojang hates TMC so much, but fixing something so useful and safe is beyond weird. As i said, there is no way to get it without having server permission - so it creates no safety issues
Unless you add an ingame feature with same abilities - it is a used feature and fixing it is just ruining everyones day. Game has a lot more dangerous and annoying bugs, but you prefer to fix something safe and literally unobtainable by common player
Also, fixing a USEFUL and WIDELY USED feature which literally can not be obtained without having server access was comletely unnecesarry and stupid
This is a useful ingame feature that is no longer working - so now it is an issue that HAS to be fixed (reverted back)
QC was unintended one day, but now it is resolved as "works as intended"
it happens all the time in any world under any circumstances in any both modded and unmodded version of the game and everyone knows about it. Frogs cause like twice as much lag as villagers do. Turning off their jump ability (adding honey underneath them) cuts the lag nearly in half, but still not completely
