the vignetting added to images for some reason makes it very difficult to read the pasted coordinates in red at the bottom of the screen. I guess you can play with zoom or download to get the text above the vignetting blur

Just a second to Jake Spencer's report that it still occurs in 1.16.1

so order of operations,

server must be reset after going to bed, but before getting out.

player must then log in immediately and be kicked out of bed due to server restart, rather than due to daytime. (logging in on a subsequent night fixes the issue)

when player tries to sleep again, bed will still be occupied

notes:
when trying to sleep the next night, after bed is locked, bed is still occupied.
logging out, then in, bed is still occupied

broke bed, lay in bed, reset server, waited 20 mins so it is a later night, then logged in. bed behaved normally.

bug appears to still exist 1.16 Release Candidate 1.
I have made new discovery, the above test must all be done at night

Steps taken to test bug:
0. broke and replaced bed, bed is far from villagers
1. got in bed at the beginning of server night
2. reboot server from web console
3. Immediately log back in, still night (above ground in these later tests so I could see the sky)
4. logged in and was kicked out of bed
5. tried to lie in bed immediately
6. server returns "bed is occupied"

When I waited for day before logging in. bed was normal

I had a tree grow through cobble yesterday, I assume it's the same bug. I tried to suffocate myself in stone, and i could, so if the problem is that the blocks have been marked as transparent, they aren't universally transparent

same here, rain deep underground, but then one of my trees grew through a cobblestone block, so I think all blocks have become transparent, or at least a lot of stone has

after talking to one of the admins, it looks like 1.14.4 has a bug, possibly unsolvable if it is due to lag, where your shulker box item can become invisible at least for a short time after breaking the box. If you relog on our server to try and reload it, anti hacking command blocks delete the invisible shulker box item.

This issue can probably be closed, I'll keep an eye out to make sure everything fits those guesses.

woot! I just made all three brown shulker boxes vanish!

I broke them, and even though they broke properly, I immediately logged out and back in. the first time i managed to lose two of them, the second time i logged in too slowly, and the shulker box stayed, so I broke it again, logged out and immediately logged in and it vanished!

I don't know if the first times were server/client visual glitches, followed by a too quick log out and back in, which then erased the boxes, I'll get more boxes and try again

It just happened again, I placed my black shulker box in between my white and green shulker boxes, broke the black one in the middle and got it back, broke the other two and lost them both.

I've been trying for 10 mins to replicate the result with brown and uncoloured purple shulkerboxes in any order i can think of, filled and unfilled, and can't make any of them vanish.

I'm in the overworld with a fortune 3, unbreaking 3, efficiency 5, mending pick in one hand and a totem in the other. I do not know if all the boxes have been lost with that pickaxe.

I've just had another player on the server report the same issue.

I'm guessing from the rarity of this error that it would be some kind of race condition between the box being broken, spawning the box item and some sort of anti-dupe code. Note, I have not been duping, but I assume that anti-dupe code would be one of the few things that could erase a shulker box before it is picked up.

the first time this happened there was a moment of lag, so the server may have been low on cpu, the other two times I didn't notice excessive lag.

same issue, seems about 1/3 of the villagers can trade fine, the others immediately drop you out of the menu

This is the opposite problem to MC-111444. MC-111444 says that elytra do not open while ascending after being launched by a tnt cannon. this is intended function according to other bug reports.

In MC-143569, I have reported the opposite. After being launched by a tnt cannon, ascending, then beginning descent, elytra still do not open even in a game with no lag. This appears to be a broken function since elytra are supposed to open while falling, and this functionality existed in previous versions.

I've had the same issue for about 3 months, near when the last patch came out. since then, I've updated my router firmware, bought a new computer, bought a new phone, started turning off that phone while playing, and deleting the runtime files, all to try to make a difference. none difference observed. no one else on strictly vanilla seems to be having this issue.

runescape plays fine, and youtube video is normal. fast.com reports my connection at 14-15Mbps.

my next step is to replace the modem and see if it makes any difference.
