Yes, as I said, it is a duplicate because there is no resolution posted. I suppose I should be more specific.
I need:
1. a link to download the minecraft version 20w51a full installation package with the old launcher version as well..
2. a way to turn off updates so that this does not happen again.
3. a way to turn off minecrafts ability to connect to the internet until a suitable version is released.
Is this something you can help me with or notify someone who can?
How do you get back to the other launcher? My world is wrecked and a backup did no good since I have no way to revert to the old launcher.

If this were posted in thee original thread I think it would have saved some players a lot of aggravation.
Would you happen to have a link or suggestion about to where comments can be posted about developing two different versions that are incompatible?
