Still an issue in 1.16.1, items can go into a chest via hoppers when a block is on top, but items can't be detected inside a chest when a block is on top.
happening in 1.16.1 and it's causing the server to restart and kick everyone anytime this happens:

Still happening on 1.16 snapshots, seems exacerbated by chunks that have blocks very high up
Noticed this immediately upon updating. Had to reduce my sensitivity to 70% but it honestly feels like a different acceleration curve of some kind
this still affects the current version, and I don't think it is intended. Previously beacon beams went infinitely high above build height so they could be seen from much further away, but when Mojang added the ability to tint the beam's color with stained glass they seem to have limited the beacon height. This was not in any changelog and should probably be considered a bug.

My player heads will be very inconsistent, they switch between my current and previous skin during play sessions and on relogs. It seems to affect all my playerheads even ones Ive had since before my skin change and they all seem to update the same way.

Having the same issue, un-enchanted armor works perfectly with transparency/alpha textures but as soon as any number of enchanted armor pieces are worn, select pieces of armor lose all transparency.
Been happening in all 1.9 snapshots. very hard to escape

All players on my server are also having the same issues since 1.7.4 through all 1.8 snapshots. We call them the "Laggy Chunks." Causes framerate stutter and sometimes it feels as if the location of the issue slightly shifts.
Confirmed, I am also having this issue on my multiplayer server in chunks that run through my house. We even loaded a backup and replaced all blocks in the laggy chunks with air using the new /fill command and the low fps and lag was still present only in those chunks.

this happens in 1.16.1 in a world with a newly generated nether dimension. i don't think this is fixed.
