I am having the same issue and I am on iOS on Windows 10 Edition. Whenever I try to start the game, the grey line only gets to about over halfway across the screen when the wave stops moving and i am kicked onto the home screen. I tried offloading the app then re-downloading it and it did not work. I do not want to delete the app in fear that my realm and worlds will be deleted. Thank you for your hard work fixing bugs.
I've noticed this has been happening to my Realm as well. It also seems to happen more frequently the more people are on. But, yes. It seems to disconnect us every 20-40 minutes or so. I do not know if this has to do with backups, but it seems likely. I've noticed that about 5 minutes or so, after a backup is issued, the realm disconnects all players. Would be nice to have this fixed, or, to allow us to set/turn off backups. (Though I do like my backups.) Also: some sort of compensation for all the Realm players who paid for this service, would be nice. Perhaps some extended time for all the problems Realms has been having?
@Young I want Realms to work. I like the idea of it. But it's literally unplayable in it's current state. We've built a huge town with many different mob spawners, redstone contraptions, and other buildings and services, all in survival, but Realms can't seem to handle anything we do on it.
@Jackie I get that. But how come when I host the realm on my PC, everyone else is able to play lag-free? It's only in Realms, where the lag affects all of us. Are Realms not up to the standards of handling a task of a computer? If not, shouldn't Mojang/Microsoft upgrade their servers?
Just wanted to report that this is happening to everyone every few hours. Can WE PLEASE get an explanation, so I can tell them if it's worth it to keep paying for Realms, or not?
Sorry for your loss. Didn't realize this is affecting lots of people. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. As a precaution, make backup saves each time you play, and be sure to unequip all your items before logging off and signing onto a different device. That's the best solution I've got till Mojang does the things.

I can confirm this is still an issue on my Switch: I can't find lily pads in swamps, no matter what the seed is.

Sometimes they happen randomly. When it happens, everyone gets disconnected. It gets worse the more people join and play, I've noticed.

Well that's nice, but it's still a bug I'm going through. And I don't play on a laptop. I play on a desktop.
