Still occurring in 1.2.6... Come on mojang, actually pretend like you care.

See MCPE-25359. In my case it was because the hoppers were powered. All powered hoppers turned to sponges while unpowered ones converted fine.

Same here for me. Dozens of my hoppers turned to sponges.

Sure, attached. Instructions:
1. Load level
2. Don't move the player (better reproducible)
3. Click the button and observe the light
4. Exit world
5. Reload world
6. Observe the light now (you may see 2 more more pulses instead of 1). If you don't see the bug, try reloading again.

Yes, it was backwards before – see MCPE-13187

Seems to still be an issue with Win10 1.0.7 at least.

This may be fixed as it's listed in the 1.0.6 changelog. I tried OPs Chamber-B design (full blocks covered by half-slabs for the roof) and I'm getting spawns inside my enclosed room relatively quickly. I don't have a full size farm though so it would be good to get a second opinion here.

This is most likely a duplicate of MCPE-18617. Your description allowed me to finally reproduce it where the others failed 🙂

That said, I could only reproduce this using the pocket UI profile; using the classic profile on the Win10 version doesn't show this behavior.

A quick test shows that it's still a problem in 1.0.5 I think. I threw together a simple world and looks like it's broken but you should test with your setup in case I'm seeing something else.

Hopefully this is the same as MCPE-12422 – which should be fixed as of 1.0.5 (in beta on Android). See the Fixes in the release notes @ http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Pocket_Edition_1.0.5_build_1

I can repro this issue on Win10 edition. Wheat and beetroot seeds do not work. The villagers will not pick these up at all. However, carrots and potatoes do work fine.

Related to the fact that half-slabs in Pocket Edition do not block light and it's still present in 1.0.3...
