The Bug:
When Vex are locked on to a target and circling it, or when charging at their target ready to deal damage, they do not turn their head to look directly at what they're attacking like other mobs do when aggro. Their head movement remains idle; they can even look at other mobs while charging at a player or different target. Most other hostile mobs look directly at what they're attacking.

This was an issue even before the Vex model change.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a Vex and get within its aggro range. Notice how even though it is locked on to you, it will not turn its head to look at you directly, its head remains idle, and it can look at other mobs while doing this
Wait for it to charge at you, and notice how still its head is idle and does not face you; it may instead idly look at you if in range like any mob does

With the fix of MC-257392, I can now confirm this also applies to their newer model as well. In 1.19.3 Pre-3
Their head movements in general seem to be iffy too; for example, they can look at other mobs while targeting and charging the player.
Might be something to add to the main report
In 23w13a. May I request control of this bug? The original reporter hasn't updated it since April of 2021 and I would like to update it a bit
Can a mod please delete the old unnamed images added in May of 2020 before today? They're unneeded now but I can't delete them, and only serve to clutter as they're not the most clear screenshots of the bug
