Projectiles can get stuck in the air if shot very far away horizontally/into unloaded chunks

Firing small fireballs into a direction will make them get stuck in mid-air as soon as they reach unloaded chunks. This also affects other types of projectiles like tridents and arrows.

Can you force a crash by doing F3 + C for 10 seconds then attach the crash log.

Okay, there is an actual bug here - I have adjusted the report accordingly. To fix this, don't shoot fire charges into the middle of nowhere for now, and to get rid of the fire charges already stuck, use /kill @e[type=minecraft:small_fireball]

Hey there!

This issue also affects other kinds of projectiles such as tridents and arrows. Upon shooting them into unloaded chunks, they will move extremely slow are are not actually "stuck". I've attached a video which demonstrates this problem. (Can confirm in 20w51a).
