Since the feature was added post-1.15, it's probably valid as a parity issue.

Java has a more specific way to change this (per dimension type) though.
Also, it was added in today's beta, at least wait for the next snapshot before making a report; the devs likely already have it committed for next snapshot.

There are no specific guidelines regarding making parity reports right after the beta/snapshot comes out

The feature affected by the parity issue is present in both Bedrock Edition and Java Edition in the latest release or development version
The feature behaves differently in one edition than in the other
The parity issue was introduced in Buzzy Bees (Bedrock Edition 1.14 / Java Edition 1.15) or later and was not present before

It actually violates the first one; if something about the gamerule behaves differently, it's valid, but lack of its existence is not.

I consider it a part of the gamerule command, not a separate brand new "thing".

That's the thing, it is not part of the command; each rule is its own feature.

We'll see what devs have to say about it. This conversation is pointless.

This is not something we will track as a parity issue as it's not something that we consider to be a "gameplay feature".
