Sometimes Wardens will completely freeze if overwhelmed with sounds/enemies/attacks and will be completely unresponsive toward they player or any mob.
Even hitting them in survival mode does nothing, and they can stay like this until they die.
Though this is unlikely in normal gameplay it still can happen.

Unfortunately it seems this has not actually been fixed in 22w18a, I just tested it with a naturally summoned Warden and eventually got overwhelmed:
[media]I tested this with Wardens summoned in all manner; spawn egg, summon command, sculk shrieker, all of it. I noticed another report that mentioned only Wardens summoned with spawn eggs froze that seemed to be "in progress," but I can't find it now. But yea, all Wardens have this issue.
Thank you for bringing to our attention that this was not done properly. It seems only part of this was fixed. There was more than one reason that this could happen and only one was previously fixed.
I've been able to replicate this issue by having the warden be attacked by a lot of zoglins. The Warden will just stop trying to kill them. At that point I'll do /kill @e[type=minecraft:zoglin] and go into survival. I can hit the Warden and collide with the warden. It won't attack me and will just stay still. I'm trying to figure out the cause for this issue.
