Boats appear to be sunken in water

What I expected to happen was...:
Boat to float normally as seen on the 1.7.4 picture.

What actually happened was...:
Boat was almost completly sunken in water.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a boat
2. Place it in the water ( there is a placement bug, so you have to jump to place it MC-47637)
3. Embrace the derpyness

EDIT: Boat is lower than usual. When you place a boat on land it appears to be inside the blocks

This is once again an issue in 15w41b, could it be reopened?
