I've noticed that the witch's hitbox has been made larger in this snapshot. Since witches and villagers share a similar model, I compared the two, and saw the villagers still have their top-head missing, like in 1.7.9 and below. The witch's hitbox has been adjusted so that it covers her head (slightly under her hat), but the villagers should have the same, see screenshots.

Looks like Mojang has improved some of the mobs' hitboxes last snapshot, but some still need to be adjusted, like skeletons. This was probably in the last snapshot, but I've noticed it in this one. The zombies' hitbox has been adjusted so it is bigger, to fit the zombie model, but the skeleton is unchanged (I just noticed that zombies and skeletons are actually slightly taller than the player). The zombies and skeletons are the same height, and slightly taller than the player, so it wouldn't make sense to change one and not the other. This is the same issue with villagers and witches, as in my last report.

I wasn't trying to make it a feature request, I was saying that both models need to be the same since they are the same model.

I reported that issue, just got merged with this one. I also reported the creeper hitbox needs adjusting. Also blaze is fine being one pixel up, so is the enderman's. Steven, I just chose these two mobs because their hitboxes need to match up with mobs that have the same or similar model to them. All other mobs should have separate issues, along with the pictures of them.

Gary closse, I reported both those issues as well as this one. The creeper hitbox and eye level is different than this. Steven, please delete the screenshots of the other mobs and put them in a different issue. Let me explain: I made this issue to show that since the zombie and witch hitboxes have been updated, their counterparts of similar models should be adjusted too. The general hitboxes of some mobs being wrong, even though fits here, does not support what I am trying to get across, since the other mobs all have different models not similar to each other at all.

The Baby Zombies is crazy too large, and the Zombie Villagers/Witches should be brought down to Villagers level. The Witches hat and the Villager Foreheads can't go out over 2 blocks. Skellys' should probably be more like the Zombies. =P

There are still a few hixboxes wrong, but I think villagers and skeletons are now as intended, see MC-50367 🙂

Witch hitbox is still slightly larger than villager hitbox, but I think that's acceptable on account of their hats. Zombie villagers and villagers now have the same hitbox height. Everything else should be covered by MC-50367. Marking as fixed.
