Confirmed, but piston_extension is unobtainable by /give , only placable by /setblock ~ ~ ~ piston_extension

Unable to reproduce since /setblock doesn't work with piston_extension anymore (at least not for me). Waiting for confirmation from other people.

Cannot reproduce either (using /setblock only creates a ghost block that has no hitbox but prevents block placement).

Can confirm this was fixed in 17w49a, however it requires commands to actually reproduce after a certain point due to moving pistons not being targetable.
