Redstone Torch breaks when receiving update

when i place a redstone torch on a wall with no block under it, it breaks when a piston within an about 3x3 probably x3 area is powered. It doesent break when all that piston stuff happens if there is a block underneath.

Confirmed for 14w26b. Additional info should include that the bug only happens when the torch is changing state from powered to unpowered.

I think pistons have no effect here, any redstone update will cause that. Looks the same as MC-58925.

Issue has been confirmed by a Mojang employee. Should be fixed soon.

Might be worth noting that there is more to it than just redstone torches:

I have the following sequence of blocks:
(any) Button>Repeater>Redstone>Redstone>Redstone>Redstone (Facing north)
Pressing the button makes the repeater start flickering.
Must be facing north.
Must be at least 4 redstone.

@Holger, I believe that's a different bug. Check MC-58918
