I am getting horrible frame rate in my single player world. i usually get between 50-80 frps at my base but in this version the frame rate was going into the 30s. The nether has the same problem i usually get 100 frps there easy but it was doing not even half that. The only reason I can find for this is when you press F3 in the upper part the C (which i suppose is chunks) says C: 3400/8464 and that number kept on rising. For me it usually stays in the 800s/8464. I know this isn't my computers problem because i downgraded to 14w27b and it was fine

It's really not much for me, but as far as I know, the cause has been found.
Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".

Can confirm, my frames dropped form around 70 to 30. Upgraded from 27b to 28b.

I also play on unlimited frame rate. not sure if that effects it

20 FPS all the time, compared to minimum 40 in previous version.

Terrible framerate drop since 14w27b, I'm getting 6-13 FPS while walking 😞
I've attached my developer console in case it helps.
On fullscreen it looks like that the framerate improves a little bit, I usually play on maximized window though.
Is there any workarounds?

I can also confirm this! Also, glad I'm not the only one.

I have the same problem. I'm usually at around 50-60 fps, now, even with everything at a minimum, I get 9 fps. It's unplayable right now.
