Witch Huts aren't doing well in the new 1.9 snap shot either. Huts spawn blocks too high and only 2 floors of a witch trap are usable.
In 1.8.1 the water physics act as expected. Thank you.
Hasn't been an issue. The game is smooth and stable. Thank you
My villagers are farming again. it appears that mobGriefing (and horrendous spelling) was my problem. *Facepalm
I have a test world where the farmers will plant but not harvest.
I will see about uploading the world file. (Size)
Flint and Steeling a mob COOKS the mob meat... Not destroys it. A LONG standing chicken farm that has been in my Play World is affected as well. and 50 chickens will only produce 1 feather now where it used to produce 50 feathers and 50 Roast Chicken.
Mine are completely invisible. I placed them on the walls, walked away and did some stuff, and when I came back they were invisible. If you break the block that they are on, the painting drops like it should.
Changed texture packs and the paintings are back... May be a Pack problem and not MC.
If a cloud goes through a house, the x-ray is really evident. This was an issue in the snapshot BEFORE 1.8 as well.
Looks like hostile mobs have the problem too. If you burn something to death, the drops are consumed. If this is a new "Feature" then fine... Otherwise, this didn't used to happen.
I'm glad someone could finally verify this. That's exactly what happened to me.
*aware
Not that I'm awate. Thank you
1.8 pre-1... This was still an issue... So I mapped exactly which blocks were causing the problem and marked them with red wool. I noticed that when I removed the red wool, the block stopped melting. So I filled the entire building with red wool and then burnt it all out. Now the ice is no longer melting!
Could placing and burning out the blocks fix the errors in the biome by reseting them?
Anyway... I let the farm run for 2 hours afk and no blocks melted. So I guess this is fixed for me.
Weird.

Still an issue in 14w34d
I'm glad to know that I'm not 100% bonkers. Thanks qmagnet! Since the bug is reproducible, I'm going to remove the world download.
I was afraid of that, the world is way too big to upload.
I did do a video: http://youtu.be/9REmKfLDKAo
2 Minutes 9 Seconds
There's no spoken audio.
It is isolated to that specific world. I created a Savanna Plains world and a regular world and both worked the correct way, but my "Play" world is messed up as seen in the video.
I'm not arguing... I'm on a cell so my posts are contrite.
Apparently, the bug is configuration specific and not a universal bug because qmagnet's video clearly reproduces the exact instance where my bug manifests itself.
I am away from my computer for the next few days but I have every intention of supplying the world download and coords. I'll even supply more of a configuration description.
I apologize if it seemed I was arguing. It wasn't my intention.
Steps:
Put down some wooden blocks....
Put an item frame on the east or west face....
Try to put something in the frame...
See that the item doesn't go INTO the frame [see screenshot]...
now try to destroy it...
see that you break the block behind it instead of the frame...
notice that SOME TIMES as the frame is suspended in mid air it spawns several frames before breaking.
Unaware of biome specific bugs? Just a few snapshots ago block textures were corrupting over Ocean biomes only.
I get it. I just don't have access to the computer... Additionally, one person saying they couldn't reproduce the bug is not conclusive... as I said, it could be biome specific and there has been no feedback since my second post.
I'm 48 and an IT professional... I enjoy the sand box nature of this fantastic game... I wouldn't post a bug that I didn't feel was valid.
I'll post the proof when I'm able.
From my observations this bug is no longer a big the way I reported it.
