Pressure plate items render thin

False, they are using 'inactive' model which is 1/16th block thick. In fact, Minecraft was using wrong model for items since very first time I believe. I think this is more consistent now since carpets also have exact same thickness.

Could be worked as intend, but we won't know unless the devs confirm.

It is working as intended. I have no idea why we had the different shape in the first place, but since we added flat things like Carpet it just made sense to fix.

Reverted MC-50309 and relates to MC-4527
