Hi there!

This looks like MCL-20235 (or a recurrence of MCL-21425). Please try deleting the minecraft folder (copy its contents elsewhere before deleting), uninstalling the launcher, downloading the launcher again from minecraft.net, and then reinstalling it. Please also attach your launcher_log and nativeUpdaterLog.

Apparently my issue was a duplicate (despite being an entirely different OS). How can the Minecraft Launcher be re-installed? When I go to minecraft.net the only option appears to be to pay for a new version, which I don't plan to do if the Launcher has failed because of an ongoing issue. Please advise.

Hi, I did what turbo said in the last comment. I deleted the minecraft folder, uninstalled the launcher and then downloaded it again. Once I did that, the launcher worked fine. However, when when I quit minecraft and start it again, the same problem happens. Here are the logs attached.

I reinstalled the launcher as turbo said and it said it needed to update. So I restarted the launcher and it just gets this bugged update. And now its broken again.

Hi,

same problem here - after reinstalling the launcher it runs once - after the next restart, same problem as before.
