This is happening to me as well, very unfair when we have spent lots of money on skins, Mojang do not seem to be bothered, have been ignored multiple times, there doesn't seem to be any update on this ticket either!

I hope you guys are still following this thread. I found a work around for the problem. So the first thing I did was take my switch off the dock and you can either choose to go to marketplace or select your profile. Just make sure you’re properly logged in and can see your username. Once you are, you’ll see your username and it’ll have “packs” next to it. Use the touch screen to select that.Once it’s selected, you’ll be able to see skins, worlds and mash-ups. Select what you’re looking for, scroll done a little bit and you will be able to equip your skins.

If you scroll down it shows the skins in the pack you have to equip it like that

So, I think I may have found a temporary solution. If you go to the market place and select your skin from there it works. Me and my friend where trying to solve the problem, and I went through the marketplace on the home page and selected a skin and I worked. It takes a while and is kinda herd to do but it works!

None of the mentioned solutions work if you're the second player on a local multiplayer. Everything just spins forever. Even the text says things like localization.gotomarketplace rather than actual words.

Honestly this has happened to me for quite a while now.At first my main skin disappeared from my own access (In other words,I couldn't boop the equip button),but then now my 2nd main skin disappeared.Now I have 2 accessable skins left:1 is my 3rd main skin and the other is a random skin.I can't really bare to go on multiplayer with other skins so I'm just not playing at all anymore.I thought this game was cool but...
Please Mojang,fix this!The clip I shared is a clip of my 2nd skin,loading in for almost 1 HOUR.Then I gave up trying and recorded a small clip to share.
