Some items in hotbar change size when opening or closing a GUI

When your inventory is open items such as smooth stone or oak wood planks in the hot bar are smaller and when your inventory is closed they are larger. The smaller size looks like a mistake. The larger size is what I would expect to see in both situations. This issue affects all GUI size settings.

The fastest way you can reproduce the problem is to put a torch in your hotbar and observe how it changes when you open and close your inventory.

Confurmed for like all devices

Confirmed iPhone 4.
What I would like to add: The [...] symbol is not consistent as well.

This is not confirmed for all platforms or all devices. This bug does not affect Win10 which uses the MATTIS crafting system, thus the hotbar disappears when entering an inventory. This bug does affect Android and iOS devices.

This bug does not affect all items. It seems to affect all solid blocks (blocks with a collision box that a player, mob or entity cannot move through) but not non-solid blocks or items.

Also, torches and redstone torches move up/down vertically when opening/closing a GUI. See related MCPE-14278

This issue also affects Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. See photos attached.

huh. sure took you a while to

and for the first and second comment I don't even remember why I posted those but likely just sarcaism for how obvious the bug is that you actually edited my whole post numerous times for it, my point is just chill a little 🙂 thanks for actually previewing the thing and good luck with that!

Affects 0.15.90.8 and glass panes as well.

Still affects 1.0.2

This is still reproduce able in 1.1.0.0+ by placing a torch in your hot bar and then opening your inventory. The texture of the torch will change in size.

This appears to be fixed in 1.2.13 - the items in the hotbar don't move position, and only change in relation to the surrounding UI. Tested with torches and blocks on Android and W10, in Pocket and Classic UI, and with different UI sizes.
