Vanilla cape not received on Bedrock

For people wondering, they said they will start giving out the vanilla cape, they never said YOU WELL GET IT INSTANTLY, and probably giving capes on bedrock edition is harder that java edition

Yes they said that you would not get the capes immediately on august 31 but they did say when you get the cape you get it on both platforms at the SAME TIME.

I have the same issue. But I have seen instances where people actually got the cape on bedrock.

As mentioned in this help article, it can take up to two weeks for the cape to appear in your accounts. Please wait until September 14th and let us know if you've received the cape by then.

Yes, but is says that once you have the cape it should show up on both accounts immediately. According to the article from minecraft.net: "We will begin rolling out the vanilla cape to eligible players on Wednesday, August 31st. However, it can take up to two weeks for the cape to appear in your account. Once it arrives, the cape should show up in your Dressing Room and Skin Customization menus automatically in both versions of the game. "
In my case the cape has arrived, but the cape is only visible in the java launcher.

you said it yourself "should" they are not confirming that is going to be giving instantly into your bedrock account, and you guys already should know that bedrock edition is pretty slow on bug fixes, literally there was a glitch for intel users that couldnt play the game for almost a year and a half and just now it has been fixed

I don't have it, and at the beginning, I thought it was an achievement, since I was getting a lot of them lately, such as netherite & cover me in debris. Now I googled it and I got why!

I also have this issue. I know both my bedrock  and Java edition has connected to the same microsoft account and I had bought both games seperately years ago. I really wanted this cape and after looking at the requirements I should fit them...

One of the Minecraft Developers (Donuts1000) said that the giving out of the Vanilla Cape is taking longer than normal, so it will be extended into September. I still have not gotten it on Bedrock Edition yet. I was one of the first 1000 to get it on Java, but I have not heard anyone get it on Bedrock.

I've somehow had the cape for a week and a half on Java (the version I never play, only bought it for a test run lol) and Bedrock, no cape. No surprise...

I've had the cape on Java since very early, and it just appeared on Bedrock a few minutes ago; removed my previous screenshot from attachments as it's no longer relevant. The FAQ post was made a lot clearer about the situation, and although the time frame got inflated a bit it should give peace of mind to the players who are still waiting as the issue is being taken care of.
