Monsters and other underground mobs can naturally spawn in Trial Chambers

Monsters and other underground mobs such as bats and glow squids can spawn inside the trial chambers. Trial chambers are supposed to be isolated from those naturally spawned monsters to prevent creepers and other unintended mobs to fill the trial chambers.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Locate a trial chamber and teleport to the x and z coordinates.

  2. Switch and go down in spectator mode until you see the trial chamber.

  3. Give yourself night vision status effect.

  4. Switch to creative mode after going to one of the rooms.

Expected Result
Monsters and other underground mobs (bats & glow squids) should not naturally spawns in trial chambers.

Observed Result
Monsters and other underground mobs (bats & glow squids) naturally spawns inside the trial chambers.

Wha is your reason for expecting monsters not to spawn there? In every other structure in the game, random monsters can spawn based on the biome.

Monsters do not appear to generate in Trial Chambers in Java Edition.

Might be related to MCPE-180321, considering the light level is really low when there's barely enough light to cover the chambers to prevent mob spawning. Would be still preferable to prevent mob spawning in the chamber completely except the mob from trial spawners itself.

Please mark as vanilla-parity for improved visibility. This is a worldgen bug that cannot be fixed at preexisting Trial Chambers, so if it makes it to the full release, these Trial Chambers will be unfixable.

Bats and glow squid are included in this bug ticket as well considering they aren't supposed to spawn inside the trial chambers as well.
