Nether does not have 256 blocks in height

In an attempt to build a gold and xp farm on top of the nether, I realized that the height of this dimension is still 128 blocks, the opposite of overworld and the end.

Java yes, console I'm not sure

Yes

It's working as intended, im guessing, because the change log hasn't specifically stated its changing the build height of the slip in any current release. I havnt combed over the changelog in detail but I do remember they were rather particular in stating that the over world build height was being increased to 256.

And its not likely 1.0 is the final update. So there's all the time in the world for them to change it.

This Issue is still happening at 1.0.0 It is a bug that is happening before build 2.Please Mark this Issue as "Reopened" and Affects Version: 1.0.0

This has been confirmed by the developers that the nether height build limit being 128 blocks is definitely working as intended.

The Overworld hasa a 256 build height. this is set per dimension in Pocket/Win10. as the Nether is 128 blocks high ... this is definitely working as intended. (-darngeek)

As stated in MC-180755 building above the nether roof IS working as intended so why not have it on bedrock? even if it is a bug why should it only be fixed in one version of the game and not both? thats just creating unnecessary differences between java and bedrock that make people dont like one version of the game

If this somehow gets added into Bedrock, many players will take advantage of this change.

Also, this feedback link should be used in relation to this report.

If you somehow place blocks above the Nether ceiling on Legacy Console and then convert to Bedrock, all blocks previously above the nether ceiling will disappear and not drop.
